Nokia Lumia 920, 820 And 620 Windows Phone 8 Launched In India– Price and Details

Nokia India has finally launched their flagship Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 920 and lower spec version Lumia 820 in India on 10th of January 2013 in New Delhi India. These phone comes packed with high performance processor, high quality large display and the features of latest Windows Phone 8 OS which makes it one of the most advanced smartphones in the segment. They competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 5 etc.

Nokia Lumia 920 has been lunched at price of Rs. 38,199 and Lumia 820 is launched at Rs. 27,599 in India which is the official price list. The phones are already on sale on leading e-commerce portals in India and will be available in stores soon. The online stores have listed the price of Rs. 37,000 for Lumia 920 and Rs. 27,000 for Lumia 820. The Lumia 620 will reach stores in February and the prices will be announced later.

Nokia has given their current flagship, Lumia 920 everything that they have by packing in features almost difficult to find fault with. It features one of the best smartphone camera modules as they’ve used their much touted Pureview technology for it. The screen size is just the perfect for viewing and it is not too big either. The phone got off to great start in US and Europe with the Out-of-Stock appearing every now and then on retailer’s websites.

India is considered to be Nokia’s one of the most important markets as they’ve managed to make the Indians trust Nokia so much that they would buy a Nokia over any other similarly specced mobile phone available even at a slightly lower point. The success of the Asha series in the age of cheap droids pretty much points towards it and they look to replicate the success in the premium smartphone market as well and look all geared up for that too.

Nokia India Website Claims Lumia 920 Will Support 9 LTE Bands

Nokia India is yet to launch latest Lumia phone, the Lumia 920 which runs on latest version of Windows Phone, the Windows Phone 8 which was launch by Microsoft last month. As most phone nowadays comes with LTE or Long Term Evolution or just simply 4G support so Nokia has too made LTE available in Lumia 920 and if your carrier offer 4G then you can take advantage of it on it.

Nokia Asha 205 Facebook QWERTY Phone Launched At Rs. 3499

Nokia India has launched its entry level Nokia Asha 205 phone in the Asha series which is a QWERTY keyboard phone with dedicated Facebook button and functionalities. The price of the phone starts at just Rs. 3499 for the single SIM version and a Dual SIM model has also been launched. The sales of this new phone start from December 24th 2012 in India which is the Christmas festival season. Along with this new phone, Nokia has also introduces a special Bluetooth based sharing feature called SLAM in which content like photos, videos and songs can be quickly shared with other Bluetooth enabled mobile phones without pairing the two phones. It also works with the old Bluetooth phones without SALM technology.
