Samsung has launched its Oculus powered Samsung Gear VR headset alongside Gear S2 smartwatch in the Indian market.

The device converts multimedia content, ranging from games or videos into a virtual reality experience. It allows users to enjoy 2D/3D contents, play VR games as well as explore tourist attractions with 360-degree panoramic view. The device is compatible with a number of Samsung smartphones including Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, S6 and S6 Edge.

As expected, Chinese company LeEco (formerly known as Letv), has launched its Le Max smartphone alongside Le 1S in India.

The Le Max flaunts its bezel-less unibody metal design and is loaded with high end specifications and features. As far as specifications of the Letv Le Max smartphone are concerned, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 wrapped under EUI, it features a 6.33-inch Quad HD display with resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.

Karbonn has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Karbonn Quattro L50 phone. It is the first smartphone to be launched in Karbonn’s ‘Quattro’ series.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Karbonn Kandy UI, it features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. On storage front, it houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

LG has launched 3G variant of its G4 Stylus smartphone in India. Called the LG G4 Stylus 3G, it is listed on company’s official website. Besides difference in connectivity support, the 3G variant differs from 4G variant in other departments as well.

Under the hood, the G4 Stylus 3G is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor instead of 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon Qualcomm 400 processor of the 4G variant. The 3G variant also sports an 8 mega pixel primary camera unlike 13 mega pixel rear camera of the LTE variant. Rest of the specifications of both variants are identical.

Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM smartphone in India. It is essentially the dual SIM variant of company’s flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 5 which was launched in India in September 2015.

Besides difference in number of SIM card slots, the dual SIM Galaxy Note 5 packs same specifications as the single SIM variant. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under TouchWiz, it features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution, 518ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 4 protection against scratches.

Xiaomi has announced a price cut of Rs. 2,000 for its Xiaomi Mi Pad tablet in India. To recall, the Mi Pad was launched in India in March 2015. The tablet was originally launched at Rs. 12,999 and can now be grabbed for Rs. 10,999, exclusively from Xiaomi’s India website Mi.com and online retailer Flipkart.
