Asus has launched its Asus Zenfone 3 Max smartphone in the Indian market. It succeeds the Zenfone Max which was launched in India earlier in 2016. Two variants of the phone have been launched, a high-end variant- Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) and a base variant- Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL). Both models differ in display size, camera combination and chipset.
Panasonic has launched its latest smartphone in India, called the Panasonic P71. Under the hood, it packs a 1.25GHz quad-core processor. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The phone comes in two variants based on RAM, one with 1GB RAM while other variant packs 2GB of RAM. It houses 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card.
Zopo has launched its Zopo Color F2 smartphone in the Indian market. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The device features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with expandable support up to 64GB via microSD card.
Lenovo has finally launched its Lenovo Phab 2 Plus smartphone in India. To recall, the Phab 2 Plus phablet was unveiled alongside Phab 2 and Phab 2 Pro smartphones at Lenovo’s Tech World event which was held earlier in 2016.
Reliance has launched a new Lyf series smartphone, called the Reliance Lyf F8. The smartphone is available to buy from company’s retail stores across the country. As for specifications, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854×480 pixels and pixel density of 218ppi.
Reach Mobiles has launched yet another budget smartphone, called the Reach Allure Ultra. The smartphone is available to buy from e-commerce website Shopclues. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.
BlackBerry has launched its latest Android smartphones in India, called the BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60. The main highlight of the phones is their encryption capabilities. Both smartphones are touted as ‘world’s most secure Android smartphones’. The DTEK 50 and DTEK60 are FIPS 140-2 compliant and encrypt user’s crucial information such as personal data and business data. The smartphones also alert the users if someone is remotely accessing phone’s camera, microphone or location information.
