Panasonic has expanded its Eluga series of smartphones with the launch of Panasonic Eluga Mark 2. It comes with a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with Mali T720-MP3 GPU. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5.5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by Asahi DragonTrail glass.
Gionee has launched its Gionee M6 Lite smartphone in Kenya. It is toned down variant of the Gionee M6 which was launched earlier this year in China. Under the hood, the M6 Lite packs a 1.8GHz quad core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with Mali-T860 GPU. On the front, the smartphone features a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The screen comes with 2.5D curved glass protection.
Oppo launched its selfie focused smartphone, called the F1s in the Indian market in August 2016. Now the company has launched an upgraded variant of the Oppo F1s in India. The new Oppo F1s variant comes with more RAM and internal memory compared to the previous variant. Rest of the specifications of both versions are identical.
Huawei has launched its latest smartphone, called the Huawei Mate 9 Lite. The smartphone is listed on company’s official website. As the name suggests, the Mate 9 Lite is a toned down variant of the Huawei Mate 9 which was launched recently.
Alongside X9 and X9 Plus, Vivo has also launched its Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone in China. It succeeds the Xplay 5 and comes with top of the line specifications. Under the hood, the Xplay 6 packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It features a 5.46-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED dual curved edge display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution.
At an event in China, Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphones, called the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus. The main highlight of the smartphones is that they feature dual camera set up on the front. Both devices sport 20 mega pixel and 8 mega pixel front facing cameras. There is also a 16 mega pixel rear camera onboard.
Reliance has introduced yet another smartphones in its Lyf brand, called the Reliance Lyf Wind 7i. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720p resolution. The screen is protected against scratches by AGC glass.
