Karbonn Ta-Fone A34 7 Inch Dual SIM Tab With Calling For Rs.7,290

Karbonn is becoming a key player in the Indian smartphone and tablet arena when it comes to offering class leading products at rock bottom prices. Karbonn has just launched another budget tablet in the Indian market which it has named as Karbonn Ta-Fone A34 for Rs.7,290 and it is available via online retailer Infibeam.com and the retailer is offering an inaugral discount of another Rs.440 if you use the code”KAR440″.

Karbonn Ta-Fone A34 comes with a 7 inch capacitive display which has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The main selling point of the tablet will be the Dual SIM option it brings along with it. It can work with two GSM sim cards which makes it quite a handy tablet. It runs on a slightly older version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 but we can’t ask them for much at this price point. It offers voice calling too which makes those two sim cards all the more functional.

Umi mobiles, a Chinese smartphone maker that is foraying into India slowly has just launched a the cheapest 720p quad core smartphone in India. The UMI S1 has been launched to tighten the noose around the Micromax Canvas HD A116 as it offers similar features at a lower price point. The UMI S1 will retail for Rs.12,000 and the smartphone can be ordered from the company’s website.

Zen Mobiles, another player in the budget smartphone market in India has just launched their budget quad core smartphone offering, the Zen Ultrafone 701 HD in the Indian market. The smartphone has not been launched officially but has gone up for ordering on Snapdeal.com which seems to be thier exclusive partner for the launch of the device. The smartphone has a lot going in its favour and might give Zen a strong footing in the market.

As the named suggests, the smartphone will have a HD screen. It comes with a 5 inch screen of 720p resolution like the Canvas HD. The price of the smartphone has been kept Rs.11,999 and is being offered with a screen guard, a spare back panel and a flip cover. It can be pre booked by paying a paltry sum of Rs.101 and it is expected to start the shipping by the time the third week of March ends which is not too far.

In recent times, the size of the smartphones have been increasing and Samsung has just launched their Mega series of mid range phablets. The junior member, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be the cheaper one and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be the dearer one. And today we are going to tell you about the Galaxy Mega 5.8.

The smartphone as the name suggests has a 5.8 inch screen of qHD resolution which translates into a pixel density of 199ppi which is nothing great but it does so to keep the costs in check. Karbonn Mobiles launched an 4.5 inch android Ice Cream Sandwich device powered by 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor along with Broadcom’s 3G platform. Broadcom Corporation is a semiconductor company in the wireless and broadband communication business.Broadcom is the top 10 semiconductor Vendors by revenue in 2012. This phone is available through online retailers like Flipkart. The official price of this device is INR 7990/-. The phone has very decent specifications for its price. It has 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 854×480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1800 mAh battery. On the back it has 5 MP camera, and at front it has a VGA camera for video calling. With 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor and 512 MB RAM it will give the decent performance. For storage there is 4 GB internal memory with up to 32 GB expandable SD card support.

Lava has announced their latest addition to their Android smart phone line up – the Iris 455. Lava made this announcement on the blockbuster phone day when a lot of other participants had something of their own. Prior to this Lava had launched Iris 454 for Rs. 8,499 which is a lot similar to this. The only significant difference between the two is of the operating system, that is Iris 454 runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich where the new Iris 455 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
