Xiaomi Redmi 2 Launched In India At Rs. 6,999: Specs, Features & Hands On Review

As expected, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 has finally reached the Indian shores. The handset has been launched in India today, at an event in New Delhi. The registration for the handset will begin on Flipkart from 12th March 2015 at 6.00 PM while it will go on sale starting 24th March. Company has also announced the Limited Edition of Redmi 2 for India which will feature 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage instead of 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has launched its smartphone HTC Desire 820s in India. First introduced in November 2014, the Desire 820s has now been brought to Indian shores. As for the specifications, HTC’s dual-SIM Desire 820s smartphone is powered by 64-bit 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense UI wrapped on the top and features a 5.5 inch screen with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density of 267 ppi.
