Domestic handset maker Lava seems to be on a launching spree. Soon after launching its Iris X1 Atom, Lava Icon and Iris 370 smartphones earlier this month, Lava has released its new phone dubbed the Lava Iris Alfa L in the Indian market. The Alfa L is essentially the successor of Iris Alfa which was launched in January this year. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor accompanied with 1 GB of RAM. Running Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system, it features a 5.5 inch qHD IPS display with resolution of a 960×540 pixels.

iBall has silently listed its two new smartphones, iBall Andi Uddaan Quadcore & Andi5 Stallion+ on its official website. Under the hood, the Uddaan Quadcore is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and features a 5-inch qHD display with 960×540 pixel resolution and 220 ppi pixel density. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. There is an 8 mega pixel auto focus camera with dual-LED flash and BSI sensor on the rear and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 4i at its ‘i Is Coming’ event in New Delhi. On design front, the handset flaunts its unibody polycarbonate body and features matte finish with anti grease coating. As for specifications, the dual-SIM phone is powered by second generation octa-core (quad 1.7 GHz + quad 1.1 GHz) Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and features a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixel, 441 ppi) fully laminated OGS display. Backed up by a 3120 mAh battery, the Mi 4i comes with quick charge feature which charges the battery up to 40 percent in one hour and 100 percent in three hours. Measuring just 7.8 mm in thickness, Mi 4i weighs 130 grams. It will be available in white, black, orange, light blue and pink color options.

Asus has finally launched its highly anticipated Zenfone 2 in India, today at an event in New Delhi. The Zenfone 2 has been launched in four variants which are now up for pre-orders exclusively on Flipkart.com. The variants can also be grabbed from Asus retail stores across the country.
