iBall Andi HD6 Launched At Rs. 6,999: Specifications & Features

iBall has launched a new smartphone in its Andi series, dubbed the iBall Andi HD6. The handset was listed on company’s website last month alongside Cobalt Solus 2 smartphone.

Under the hood,it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 6-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The phablet houses 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Lenovo owned start-up Zuk has launched its first smartphone, called the Lenovo Zuk Z1 in China. As far as specifications of the handset are concerned, it is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under ZUI.

There is 64GB of internal memory onboard to take care of the storage stuff such as images, videos and more on the device. It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor, OIS and f/2.2 aperture. The device also comes with an 8 mega pixel front facing camera with OmniVision OV8865 sensor.

Philips has launched its two new smartphones- Philips Xenium I908 and S309 in the Indian market. The flagship Philips Xenium I908 smartphone packs high-end specifications while the latter is company’s latest budget smartphone.

Speaking of the Xenium I908 first, it is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device features a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. On storage front, it houses 16GB of internal memory. The handset sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with 88 degree wide angel lens. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time and up to 1080 hours of standby time.

Expanding its Cloud series, Intex has launched its Intex Cloud Pace smartphone. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features a 4.5-inch qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.

The Cloud Pace sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by 1700mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Intex has launched a new smartphone in the Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua Q1+. The device succeeds the Aqua Q1 smartphone which was launched earlier this year in January 2015.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 4-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. There is 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The Aqua Q1+ sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera.

Lenovo has taken the wraps off its next generation of mobile workstations, dubbed the Lenovo ThinkPad P50 and P70 at the SIGGRAPH 2015 Conference and Exhibition.

Both ThinkPad P50 and P70 are powered by an Intel Xeon processor from E3-1500M v5 series paired with NVIDIA Quadro GPU. The workstations also boast of their X-Rite Pantone color calibration for maintaining accuracy of colors. The devices come equipped with FLEX dual-fan cooling system offering cooler, quieter and faster performance. On design front, both workstations are built with premium materials for resistance against wear and tear. The also feature a three-button touchpad.

Sony has launched its three new cameras, namely Sony Alpha 7R II, Cybershot RX100 IV and RX10 II in the Indian market. The α7R II is flagship full-frame mirrorless camera and is touted to feature world’s first back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, 5-axis image stabilisation system and 4K video recording capability. The camera also comes with a XGA OLED Tru-Finder with the world’s highest (0.78x) viewfinder magnification.

The Sony Cybershot RX100 IV and High-Zoom RX10 II cameras feature world’s first Stacked 1.0 type CMOS sensor with a DRAM memory chip which lets users capture fast moving subjects well. The cameras come with High-speed Anti-Distortion Shutter, 40x Super Slow Motion Capture and 4K video recording.
