LG G Pad II 8.0 Tablet Launched: Specifications & Features

LG has launched its latest tablet LG G Pad II 8.0 as the successor of LG G Pad 8.0 in Korea. While the latest tablet takes design cues from its predecessor, there are few tweaks in hardware of the device.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. On storage front, it comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports microSD card for expandable storage up to 128GB. There is no word on camera resolution of the tablet as of now.

Samsung Metro B350E Feature Phone Launched At Rs. 2,650

Samsung has launched its latest feature phone called the Samsung Metro B350E in the Indian market. As for specifications, it features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with resolution of 320×240 pixels.The handset houses 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 16GB using microSD card. There is a 2 mega pixel camera on the rear for capturing images.

Backed up by a 1200mAh battery with Power saving mode technology, it measures 117.5×51.3×11.9mm in dimensions. Connectivity options which this dual SIM device offers, include Bluetooth and GPRS/EDGE. Unlike smartphones with touchscreen display, this feature phone comes with physical keypad for input.

BlackBerry has launched its premium smartphone- BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite Edition in the Indian market. The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 was initially introduced in September 2014 while Graphite Edition was unveiled in April 2015.

The Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite Edition comes with exclusive graphite-metallic colored elements and hand-wrapped leather on the back door cover. The device also comes with a unique PIN feature which is an exclusive Porsche Design PIN provided to every user. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Xiaomi MIUI 7 Unveiled In China, Global Launch To Be Held In Delhi On August 19

Xiaomi has unveiled the China ROM of its MIUI 7 at an event in China. The company has also launched Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphones at the same event. The MIUI 7 comes with a number of improvements over MIUI 6 as well as new themes and features.

One of the new features is face recognition in Gallery. This feature automatically sorts the pictures of a particular person in a separate folder. For instance, all photos of your pet will be sorted in a separate folder in People tab. This will happen with every different face in your gallery. The new interface also comes with Baby photos app which you can share with your family members.

Domestic handset maker Swipe has launched its latest affordable smartphone called the Swipe Elite. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset features a 5-inch HD display.

It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. Coming to camera department, it sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2500mAh battery, the Elite smartphone measures 142×70.8×8.05 mm in dimensions and weighs 131.3 grams.

Intex has expanded its Aqua series with the launch of Intex Aqua Sense 5.0 smartphone. As for specifications, the handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 5-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels resolution.

On camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera.
