Gionee S5.1 Pro With 5-inch HD Display, 13MP Rear Camera Announced: Specifications & Features

Chinese handset manufacturer Gionee has launched its latest smartphone- Gionee S5.1 Pro in its home market China. The S5.1 Pro is essentially an upgraded variant of the Gionee’s slimmest smartphone Gionee S5.1 which was launched last year.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The handset houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable using microSD card. It features a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved Glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection against scratches.

IFA 2015: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium With 4K Display Announced: Specifications & Features

Sony has unveiled the premium version of its flagship Xperia Z5 smartphone, dubbed the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium at IFA 2015. The device is world’s first smartphone to feature a 4K UHD display and has four times pixels resolution of the full HD display.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5.5-inch 4K display with resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and pixel density of 806ppi. There is 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 200GB using microSD card.

Samsung has unveiled its Samsung SleepSense smart sleep tracker at the ongoing IFA 2015 event in Berlin. As the name implies, this tracker lets the users monitor their sleep patterns. The device is a small flat disk type sensor which can be placed under bed mattress while sleeping.

Besides tracking sleep patterns, the SleepSense also excels in monitoring user’s hear and respiratory rate during sleep. It comes with heart rate and breathing rate monitor approved by the US FDA. The SleepSense is a loT device which connects with other Samsung appliances and third party loT devices to create good environment for proper sleep.

Sony has unveiled its Sony Xperia Z5 Compact smartphone at the IFA 2015 alongside its flagship smartphone Xperia Z5. The Z5 Compact is essentially a compact version of the Xperia Z5. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 4.6-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The handset sports a 23 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, hybrid auto focus with 0.03s speed, 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Sony G lens. It also supports 4K video recording. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera onboard.

Oppo R7 Lite And R7 Plus Launched In India: Price, Specs & Features

Oppo has launched its Oppo R7 Lite and R7 smartphones in the Indian market. As for specifications, both handsets are powered by a an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU. The R7 Lite sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution while the R7 Plus features a larger 6-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display.

As for the design, both devices feature metal body with thickness of 6.3mm (Oppo R7 Lite), 7.75mm (Oppo R7 Plus) and 2.5 arc edge screen. Both smartphones sport a 13 mega pixel camera on the rear and an 8 mega pixel front snapper. Rear camera on the Oppo R7 features LED flash and auto focus while the larger variant is equipped with dual-LED flash and laser auto focus.

Lenovo has introduced its latest phablet- Lenovo Phab Plus at IFA 2015. Highlight of this phablet is its large 6.8-inch display.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Vibe UI, it features a 6.8-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lenses. Lenovo has taken the wraps off its two new smartphones- Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m at IFA 2015 in Berlin. Highlight of these device are their massive battery capacities. The Lenovo P1 packs a 5000mAh battery while the P1m is backed up by a 4000mAh battery.

The Vibe P1 is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The device houses 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.
