Apple iPad Mini 4 Launched: Price, Specifications & Features

Apple has launched its Apple iPad Mini 4 alongside iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro and new Apple TV. While the design language of the iPad Mini 4 remains similar to its predecessor, there are several changes in its hardware specifications.

It is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 processor paired with M8 motion coprocessor. The device features a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution. Based on storage, it will be available in three variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The tablet sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera. On software front, it runs iOS 9 which will be made available to existing devices on September 16.

Apple has taken the wraps off its new Apple TV (2015) at a launch event in San Francisco. The device comes with several upgrades over its predecessor.

The new Apple TV is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 chipset. It now comes with integration with virtual assistant Siri and runs a completely new TV OS based on iOS. It also comes with new remote with touchscreen, mic and Wii-like motion control built in. The Apple TV will be available in two variants based on storage- 32GB and 64GB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IR receiver, HDMI and Ethernet ports.

Apple has launched its much awaited Apple iPad Pro alongside Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit Apple A9X processor paired with M9 motion coprocessor. It features a 12.9-inch LED-backlit display with 2732×2030 pixels resolution and 264ppi pixel density. The display also features antireflective and oleophobic coating. It will be available in two variants based on storage- 32GB and 128GB. The device sports an 8 mega pixel iSight camera with 1080p video recording on the rear and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera.

Apple has launched the successor of iPhone 6 Plus, dubbed the Apple iPhone 6s Plus at an event in San Francisco. The iPhone 6s Plus comes with same aesthetics as its predecessor however there are several tweaks in the hardware specifications.

Under the hood, it is powered by Apple A9 processor paired with M9 motion coprocessor and 2GB of RAM. The device features a 5.5-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and pixel desnity of 401 ppi. The smartphone runs Apple’s iOS 9 out-of-the-box which will be made available to existing iOS devices on September 16. It will be available in three storage variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Jawbone has announced the launch of Jawbone UP series of activity trackers in the Indian market. The trackers include- UP Move, UP2 and the UP3. The UP Move is basic tracker powered by MotionX technology and connects with UP platform and Smart coach for tracking user’s activities.
