Motorola has launched its Motorola Moto X Play smartphone in India. The handset was introduced back in July 2015 alongside Moto X Style phone.

As for specifications, the Moto X Play packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor under the hood, paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The handset features a 5.5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On storage basis, the device be available in two variants- 16GB and 32GB, both with expandable support up to 128GB using microSD card.

Micromax Canvas LapTab With Windows 10 Launched At Rs 14,999: Specifications & Features

Micromax has launched its Micromax Canvas LapTab with Windows 10 in India. It succeeds the original Canvas LapTab which was launched back in April 2015 with Windows 8.1. This laptop-tablet hybrid comes with a full-sized docking keyboard so that it can be used as both a tablet and a laptop.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Windows 10 operating system, it features a 10.1-inch multi-touch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of internal memory which is expandable using microSD card. It sports a 2 mega pixel camera on both front and rear.

Asus ZenBook Pro UX501 With 4K Display Launched In India: Price, Specifications & Features

Asus has launched its high-end laptop, called the Asus ZenBook Pro UX501 in India. One of the most talked about feature of this device is its 4K display.

It is powered by a 2.6GHz (Turbo up to 3.6GHz) Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor (4 cores, 8 threads, 6MB cache) coupled with Nvidia GeForce GTX960M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 RAM for graphics memory and 8GB of RAM. It features a 15.6-inch 4K UHD display with resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, pixel density of 282ppi and runs Windows 8.1 operating system which is upgradable to Windows 10. There is 512GB SSD with read/ write speeds up to 1400MB/s. With 96Whr battery, it can survive for up to 6 hours on moderate usage.

Alcatel has launched its smartwatch, called the Alcatel OneTouch Watch in India. It was unveiled at CES 2015 earlier in 2015. It enables users to check notifications such as emails, Whatsapp messages, Facebook and Twitter updates right on their wrist.

It tracks daily activities of the user like steps taken, distance walked, calories burnt, heart rate and sleep quality. Besides tracking daily activities of the user, it also acts as a remote to control music and capture images on synced smartphone. As far as specifications of the OneTouch watch are concerned, it is powered by a STM429 chipset and features 1.22-inch TFT touchscreen display with 240×240 pixels resolution.

Samsung has launched its latest affordable smartphone in the Galaxy series with 4G LTE support, called the Samsung Galaxy J2. It comes with “Ultra Data Saving” mode.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 operating system and features a 4.7-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 960×540 pixels resolution. There is 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. It sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Domestic handset maker Intex has launched a new smartphone in its Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua Slice II. As far as specifications of the device are concerned, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.

Thers is 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and features such as- HDR, self timer mode, different scene modes, continuous shot and slow motion video. It also comes with a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.

After Jawbone’s foray into the Indian market, another wearable maker Misfit has made its debut in the country. Misfit has launched three fitness trackers namely, Misfit Flash Link, Flash and Shine. All three wearables track daily activities, calories burnt and sleep patterns of the user and are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. Moreover, these trackers are resistant to water and do not require charging.

Misfit Flash Link is a clip on device which can be clipped anywhere on your pocket, collar, belt, sock or shoe. It tells users about daily activity progress by tracking distance, calories, sleep quality and duration. It also lets users take selfies and control music on their connected device.
