Samsung Z3 With Tizen OS, 5-inch HD Display Launched In India At Rs. 8,490: Specifications & Features

Samsung has launched the successor of Tizen based Z1, dubbed the Samsung Z3 smartphone in India. The Samsung Z3 comes with several improvements over its predecessor.

As far as specifications of the device go, it is powered by a Spreadtrum quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. The handset runs Tizen operating system and features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 720p resolution. On camera front, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2600mAh battery, it houses 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, Z5 Premium India Launch Expected On October 21

Sony has sent out invites for an event scheduled in India on October 21 where it is likely to launch the Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium. All the three smartphones were introduced at IFA 2015 in September 2015.

The invite does not reveal which product Sony is going to launch at the event. However, the Sony and Xperia logo on the invite hints that the company will launch its latest Xperia smartphones. Motorola launched its Moto G 2nd gen smartphone in India last year in September 2015. Now, the company has announced the launch of LTE version of the device, called the Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen 4G.

As for specifications, the LTE variant of the device packs same set of specifications as the 3G variant except 4G LTE connectivity. Under ths hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with Adreno 405 and 1GB of RAM. Running Android Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Gionee has announced the launch of its first ‘made in India’ smartphone, dubbed the Gionee F103. The company has also revealed that it has sold over 7 Million devices in India already and looks forward to double its sales in 2015-2016.

Under the hood, the F103 is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, wrapped under Amigo UI 3.1, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Dragontrail glass protection. There is 16GB of internal memory onboard.

Google Nexus 6P Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs. 39,999: Specifications & Features

Google has launched its Huawei made Google Nexus 6P smartphone in India alongside LG made Nexus 5X.

As for specifications, the Nexus 6P is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor clubbed with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes in two variants based on storage- 32GB and 64GB. On camera front, it sports a 12.3 mega pixel primary camera with dual LED flash, laser assisted auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and slow motion videos at 240fps. ZTE has taken the wraps off its ZTE Axon Mini smartphone. The company has detailed its specifications alongside availability details.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. At the front, there is 5.2-inch Super AMOLED full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. On photography front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection auto focus) and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 2800mAh battery.

iBall has launched its latest tablet in the Slide series, called the iBall Slide Brace-X1 Mini. The Slide Brace-X1 Mini is essentially a smaller variant of Slide Brace-X1 tablet which went on sale earlier this year in February 2015.
