Asus has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Asus ZenFone Live. Targeted at selfie enthusiasts, the smartphone comes with a real-time beautification camera. It comes with a BeautyLive app that removes blemishes in real-time and lets users post the images to social networking websites. Furthermore, the phone features inbuilt MEMS microphones that eliminate background noise and enhance voice pickup.
Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Vivo Y55S 4G. While Vivo is yet to make an official announcement for the same, the phone is available to buy from online retailer OnlyMobiles for Rs. 12,980. On the design front, it looks similar to the Vivo Y55L, however, there are numerous hardware tweaks that the Y55S 4G brings with it over the elder sibling.
LG has launched its latest X series smartphone, called the LG X Power 2. It succeeds the LG X Power, that was launched in India in October 2016. As for specifications, the X Power 2 is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and features a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
HP has launched its HP Omen gaming series of laptops and desktops along with a host of accessories, in the Indian market. Aimed at gaming enthusiasts, the series includes Omen laptops (15.6-inch and 17.3-inch), a gaming desktop, a keyboard, headset, mouse and a mouse pad.
Huawei’s Honor brand has launched a toned down variant of the Honor 8 smartphone. Called the Honor 8 Lite, the smartphone has been launched in China. The Lite version comes with a single 12 mega pixel rear camera and a less powerful processor compared to the Honor 8. Rest all other specifications of both smartphones are identical.
