Micromax has launched a new smartphone in its Canvas series, called the Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 E352. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M chipset clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 against scratches. There is 16GB of internal memory onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.

Micromax has introduced yet another affordable 4G smartphone in its Canvas series, called the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413. It is priced at Rs. 6,599. HTC has taken the wraps off a new smartphone in the One series in Taiwan, called the HTC One M9s. As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under HTC Sense UI, it features a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

There is 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. On photography front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash, OIS, f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording as well as an ultrapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Putting an end to rumors and speculations, Lenovo has finally launched its Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphone. The Vibe X3 succeeds the Vibe X2 phone.

The handset has been launched in three variants which include the Vibe X3 with two storage variants 32GB and 64GB and a Youth variant with 16GB of internal memory. Specifications of Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Youth differ in many departments. The Vibe 3 is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor as opposed to octa-core MediaTek chipset of Youth model. Vibe X3 comes with 21 mega pixel rear camera, 8 mega pixel front camera and 3600mAh battery.

Amazon has introduced white variant of Kindle eBook reader in India. While the device was earlier available only in black color, now buyers would be able to buy white Kindle in the Indian market.

Besides the difference in color, the white variant of the device shares same set of specifications as the black variant. It features a 6-inch touch screen display with pixel density of 167ppi and resolution of 800×600 pixels. It comes loaded with features like Kindle FreeTime, Goodreads integration and Word Wise.

Micromax seems to be on a launching spree. After quietly launching Canvas Blaze 4G+ Q414 and Canvas Mega E353 smartphones earlier this month, the company has silently launched the Micromax Canvas Amaze smartphone. The Canvas Amaze is now available to buy via online retailer eBay.in.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Gionee has taken the wraps off its latest smartphone, dubbed the Gionee Elife S6 in China. Though not as thin as the previous smartphones in the S line up of Gionee, the Elife S6 has thickness of mere 6.9mm. Moreover, with thin bezels, it has display to body ratio of 77.8%.

As for specifications, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 operating system wrapped under AMIGO OS 3.1, it features a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
