LG Begins Global Roll-Out Of Magna, Spirit, Leon & Joy Mid-Ranged Phones

LG has announced the global roll-out of its mid-ranged Magna, Spirit, Leon & Joy smartphones. The 3G and 4G LTE variants of the handsets will be released in South America first, followed by Europe, Asia, Middle East Africa and North America. Pricing of the devices will vary depending upon the markets. The mid-ranged handsets will come with UX features like Glance View and Gesture Shot which are usually seen in LG’s premium smartphones. Notably, the LG Spirit is now listed on company’s India website. The handset is priced at Rs. 14,250, availability details however have not been revealed yet. Vivo X5Max+ With 2300 mAh Battery Unveiled At MWC 2015

Chinese handset maker, Vivo has showcased its Vivo X5Max+ smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2015 event in Barcelona. The X5Max+ is essentially the refreshed version of Vivo X5Max which holds the title of ‘world’s slimmest smartphone’ with mere 4.75 mm thickness. In order to rectify the heating issues of older sibling, the updated model comes with a bigger, 2300 mAh battery which is why the thickness of the smartphone has been increased from 4.45 mm to 5.1 mm. Huawei MediaPad X2 Tablet Unveiled At MWC 2015

Huawei has unveiled the Huawei MediaPad X2 tablet at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. The MediaPad X2 is successor to the MediaPad X1 tablet which was launched last year. With mere 7.28 mm thickness, the MediaPad X2 is being called the “world’s slimmest 7-inch phablet” by the company. As far as specifications of the tablet are concerned, it is powered by 64-bit 2 GHz Kirin 930 Octa-core processor paired with Mali-T628 GPU. Featuring a 7 inch full HD (1200 x 1920 pixel resolution,323 ppi pixel density) display, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.0 wrapped on the top.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 Reversible Smartphone Unveiled At MWC 2015

Alcatel has introduced its new smartphone Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. The highlight of this device is its Reversible feature which adjusts the interface of the phone whether you pick up the phone in the right manner or upside down. The upside down feature of the phone is supplemented by its symmetrical design. It also features JBL audio with Clari-Fi technology and two front-facing speakers. The device will be available in two different display sizes- 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch. Both devices share some similar specs. Acer Liquid Z220, Liquid Z520 & Liquid Jade Z Announced At MWC 2015

Acer has announced its three new smartphones in the Liquid series, namely, Acer Liquid Z220, Liquid Z520 & Liquid Jade Z at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. Coming to the specifications of Liquid Z220 first, the handset is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, it is the first phone from the company to be running on this OS. Other specifications include a 4 inch WVGA display, 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front camera and 8 GB of inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card).

Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2+ With Cyanogen OS Launched At MWC 2015

Alcatel has launched its Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2+ smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona. The highlight of the device is that it runs on Cyanogen OS 11. The device is powered by 2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MTK6592M (Cortex-A7) processor accompanied with 2 GB of RAM and features a 6 inch full HD TFT display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
