Now today Micromax came up with another smartphone running latest OS Android Kitkat and priced really competitive INR 6,199. Unlike other manufactures smartphones, running older version of Android, Micromax launched two of its device with really competitive price and latest operating system Android Kitkat. And the Micromax Canvas Engage is the most affordable smartphone, running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box.

Micromax just announced its first latest Android KitKat operating system running smartphone in India. The device is not officially listed on company’s website, but we got a press release regarding this smartphone. The Micormax said that this device has Reverie Multilingual pack and offers users to communicate in 20 Indian regional languages & English. So that makes counting up to 21 languages long with English and 20 others regional languages, means this smartphone is world’s first smartphone that comes in 21 languages. So it is the first smartphone from company with latest operating system Kitkat and first smartphone in world with 21 languages support like Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu etc., and other features are same as we can find in a smartphone around INR 7,000. But we have to compare this smartphone with Motorola’s Moto E too.

Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 goes on sale at price INR9,340

Few days back, we reported that Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 get listed on company’s official website without price and availability. But now an online retailor infibean also listed it with price and delivery in 2-3 days. The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is available in only black colour with a price tag of INR 9,340. The official launch is expected soon from Micromax. The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 is the successor of Canvas Elanza which was launched in February this year.

Micromax launched Canvas Doodle 3 with 6-inch WVGA display at INR 8,500

Micromax introduced a new phablet in Indian market. The Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 is the successor of Canvas Doodle 2 smartphone which was launched in August last year. The smartphone officially listed on Micromax website. The smartphone will be available from Friday. The smartphone comes in White and Blue colours and priced around INR 8,500.

Micromax launched two new tablets under Canvas Tab and Funbook series

Micromax Canvas Tab P650E tablet and Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580 tablet listed on the official website of Micromax along with complete specifications and pricing. And Micromax is partnered with MTS for an offer on Canvas Tab tablet. The Micromax Canvas Tab is priced around INR 8,999 while the Funbook Ultra is priced around INR 11,990. The Canvas Tab tablet has 7-inch display along with dual core processor from Qualcomm and 512MB RAM. While the Funbook Ultra tablet has 7.85-inch display along with a quad core processor from Mediatek and 1GB RAM on board as well. The canvas Tab comes with an offer from MTS while the Funbook does not comes with such offer.

Micromax Canvas LapTab- Windows+Android Tab India Launch By May 2014

We got a chance to interact with Micromax co-founder Mr. Vikas Jain in New Delhi India at a press conference today where they announced a data bundling partnership with Aircel and Mediatek. On the sidelines of the event, we asked Vikas about the availability of the Micromax Canvas Laptab in India, to which he replied “We will bring it to India in next 45 days”, which means that in the coming fiscal, in around April-May 2014, we should see Micromax launching its first dual boot hybrid table, the Micromax Canvas Laptab in India. More details of the tablet described in the section below. In brief, it is an Intel processor powered 10.1 inch tablet which will be able to run Android Jelly bean and Windows 8.1 OS in dual boot configuration.

We have not seen so many devices running dual operating systems in the market officially. Although there are so many software available out there that allows two operating system to run on a system. As we have not seen so much anticipation from Indian site in Consumer Electronics Show , but this time Micromax has done some exiting work. Micromax came out with a pretty nice laptop-cum-tablet hybrid device, and it is running two operating systems on booting. Users will need to reboot the device to switch from windows to android or vice versa. The news was published on Engadget first. The specifications of this device are already out without price and availability. But we will let you update as soon as it will be available in India.

At a press event in New Delhi on 20th March 2014 announced the launch of 4 new products with MediaTek Chipset and Aircel Data and voice packs which offers free data and other benefits to the customers who buy these devices.
