The specifications and images of the device were already leaked on Google website. And these leaks now turned into true. Google and LG improved specification and hardware of new Nexus making it truly amazing device with better performance. So this will be the first device running latest Android  operating system Kit Kat 4.4 from Google out of the box.so now you just have to say ‘Hello Google’ without touching device, and it will start telling you whatever you want.

How to disable auto update of apps in Android

Some features of android are right in front of us. But some time we are not able to figure them out. And result, we install some third party apps that runs ad on the board. Controlling Android by some third party app makes your RAM slower and result you struggle with your phone. And the situation becomes very frustrating when you are using a basic Android smartphone with low speed network connection. In Google play store there was an option of unchecking auto update of apps till version Gingerbread of Android. But later for Ice Cream Sandwich or later, you will not find such option like that.

Google Announces Android Device Manager To Remotely Access Lost Or Stolen Android Devices

Google yesterday on 2 August 2013 announced a security application called as Android Device Manager which shall be coming later this month. Android Device manager is just like Find My iPhone Service which remotely locates lost devices and allows to prevent any damage to the data on the lost phone.

Alike Find My iPhone Application, Google Android Device Manager also maps the lost or stolen Android device in real time. This service would allow to ring your device so that the user can know if the device is in vicinity or else he/she also have the option to secretly wipe out data so that the information does not get into wrong hands. Sony Mobile had announced a similar service recently called as My Xperia which has similar features and it also uses Google account. My Xperia application started rolling for customers globally last month.

Still features like remote monitoring and remote locking have not been announced yet. We hope Google would roll out more features gradually as they complete developing. The service would work on Android 2.2 and above. An Android application for this service is also expected to be seen soon on the Google Play Store that would let you easily find and manage your devices.
