Gionee has launched its latest smartphone, called the Gionee Marathon M5 Lite in India. Talking point of this phone is its massive 4000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 32.7 hours of talk time and up to 450 hours of standby time.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. On software front, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Amigo UI 3.1. It flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is protected against scratches by Asahi Dragontrail Glass.

Gionee is working on the successor of F103, dubbed the Gionee F105. The device has recently been spotted on Chinese certification website TENAA.
