Gionee has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Gionee Pioneer P5L (2016). It is an upgraded version of the Pioneer P5L which was launched in 2014.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, wrapped under Amigo 3.1 UI. On the front, the phone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It houses 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

Gionee has launched its latest flip phone called the Gionee W909, in China. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features 4.2-inch dual touchscreen HD IPS displays with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass.

On camera front, the phone sports a 16 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2530mAh battery, it measures 124.1×62.8×16.5 mm and weighs 207.7 grams.

Gionee has launched its latest flagship smartphone- Gionee S8, at MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. The highlight of the phone is its pressure sensitive 3D Touch display which can distinguish between three levels of force- touch, tap and press. It also comes with Dual WhatsApp and Dual WeChat features and supports multiple WhatsApp and WeChat accounts.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.95GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor paired with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. On the front, the device features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D Arc Glass. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection against scratches.

Gionee has launched its latest smartphone, dubbed the Gionee S6, in India. To recall, the phone was launched in China in November 2015.
