Apple has finally launched its much anticipated Apple iPhone 6s smartphone at an event in San Francisco. While it retains the same design as its predecessor iPhone 6, the hardware specifications of the device have been bumped up.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz Apple’s A9 processor coupled with M9 motion co-processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Apple’s iOS 9 out-of-the-box which will be available to existing iOS devices on September 16. It features a 4.7-inch LED-backlit HD display with 1334×750 pixels resolution. The display also comes with Ion-strengthened glass along with oleophobic coating. Based on storage, it will be available in three variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.
