Facebook and RCom have collaborated to launch Internet.org Initiative in India to provide free internet access to the people in India. With the Internet.org app, RCom subscribers will be able to access around 30 websites with no data charges. The websites will range from education, news, maternal health, sports, jobs, communication and more in addition to social networking website Facebook. As Facebook acquired Whatsapp, some interesting features coming out that we were expecting from so long from Facebook. Before the acquisition by Facebook, Whatsapp was on its way to improve whatsapp and bring voice calling support on it in 2014. As other apps like Line, We Chat and Viber giving users voice and video calling features from the beginning. It was becoming pretty tough for whatsapp and Facebook to let stay users on their platform. Last year Facebook announced calling feature for US users on Android and iOS and promised that it will bring to other countries soon too. Now with an update, Facebook supports voice calling with its Android app.

As reported by Techlomedia Facebook is testing a new feature on desktop chat that let you know the platform of your friends. Previously, while chatting, we saw a line in chat like “sent from Web” or “sent from Mobile” in the chat box. But now Facebook will display Web/mobile in the right front of the name. If your friend is online from mobile app it will shows MOBILE and if your friend is online from web it will shows WEB. Currently this feature is only available for few lucky users although it is little bit buggy. But still it will be helpful for users.
