Android beta’s WhatsApp Payments has begun providing a new feature, which enables users to request money from their contacts. The ‘Request Money’ feature is available on the Android beta version of the messaging app, meanwhile, users on its regular Android version won’t be able to see it yet.

Xolo To Launch Online-Only Brand Black In June

Following the footprints of OnePlus, Xiaomi and Huawei’s Honor brand, now domestic handset maker Xolo is all set to launch its online-only brand Black in India. Xolo itself is a sub-brand under Lava International. Xolo Black will not follow flash sale model unlike Yu and Xiaomi, however the devices will be sold exclusively by an e-commerce portal. The company has also tied up with a telecom operator and e-commerce retailer for its online-only brand Black.
While the focus will be on camera, design, battery life and audio quality of the smartphones, Xolo Black will launch five to six smartphone in a year. The company says that it will launch one phone every quarter which will be made available for next nine months.

Finally after so long Amazon launches its marketplace in India today on 5th June 2013. Amazon, world’s first and largest e-commerce website starting from the year 1995 as the online book store turned out to be selling literally everything.
Following the same trend, Amazon India today has launched with 7 million print books across 200 plus categories including fiction, management, children’s books and academic publications and a collection of over 12,000 titles in English and Hindi across DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and Video CD formats. Amazon.in has committed that they will introduce Mobile Phones and Cameras in the coming weeks.
