Google Unveils New Nexus 7 With Better Specifications

Nexus 7 the best $200 Android tablet which was announced last year at Google I/O just got even better. Google at an press event in San Francisco today on 24/07/2013 unveiled the new Nexus 7 2.0 with better specifications at a little more price.
After the numerous leaks which were already out before Google unwrapped its latest offering manufactured by ASUS. It’s the first tablet running Android 4.3 out of the box which will be available this month.

Pricing

The updated Nexus 7 series will be available in 16GB WiFi, 32GB WiFi and 32GB LTE variants. As for now the WiFi-only versions, the 16GB Nexus 7 and the 32GB Nexus 7 shall be available for $230 and $270 respectively, and both of them will be available on July 30th from the Play store. No confirmed date has been announced for the availability of LTE version but it will be priced at $349. Bestbuy, Staples and Amazon will also be the retailers selling the tablets offline in the US. The new Nexus 7 will be launching in the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Canada, Australia, South Korea and Spain, with more countries coming soon.

Asus Fonepad Launched At Rs.15,999– Video Review And Details

Asus India and Intel today launched the Asus Fonepad, a 7 inch Android tablet with 3G and Phone calling functionality in India at a price of Rs. 15,999. The price of the Fonepab is very competitive considering that it offers good specs, 3G and calling functionality in a good form factor.

On the display side, it has a 7 inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels display resolution. The display is 10 point multi-touch touchscreen. It is powered by n Intel Atom 1.2 GHz (Z2420) processor and 1 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB internal memory which can be further increased by adding an additional microSD card. The thickness of the tab is just 10.4 mm and weighs around 340g. It has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Dual camera with 1.2 MP front camera and a 3 MP camera at rear. With its large 4270 Lithium polymer battery, it can deliver a battery life of up to 9 hours.

ASUS India Launches Nexus 7 With 3G And 32 GB Memory

Previously we reported that Google Nexus 7 Officially Available In India from Google Play store. But now its manufacturer company ASUS today announced that now it is bringing Nexus 7 for Indian customers. The Nexus 7 that is available on Google Play store is only Wi-Fi variant with 16 Gb memory worth Rs. 15,999. But ASUS is providing you both Wi-Fi and the 3G version of Nexus 7 with 32 GB storage capacity worth Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 21,999 respectively. So you have a better option of buying Nexus 7 from ASUS expect from Google Play Store although they have much price difference. Finally after the wait of 3 month this device is also launched officially in India too, Thanks to the Dr. Eric Schmidt who is the Executive Chairman of Google, is visited India one week earlier. He announced that Google will bring its Nexus devices to India as early as possible.

And on the front it has Hairline-spun textured metal surface with slim design that makes it easy to handle. With the unmitigated touch performance ,Touch screen makes your experience of using ultraboook more beautiful. It is powered by 2GB graphic card of NIVIDIA that makes it super smooth and fast. The swiping, scrolling, and all other gestures works pretty well on this machine. Specially for windows 8, Asus developed some instant Functions like just one key press, engae and load up instant function so you can quickly interact with your computer. DESIGN

The looks of this machine stand it out from the crowd. On front you get Brushed-hairline aluminum textures, but back panel is plastic. The keyboard and touch panel looks great and works well too with metallic design. The keyboards are placed well in its metallic body. The design and build quality of this device is really premium. The display screen is very thin although it has metallic finish on front. There are 6 led on the front for the indication of various features and services. Asus has formally launched the Memo Pad ME172V in India at a price of Rs.9999 only. When it comes to features and specifications, the Memo Pad 7 inch has many similarities to the popular Google Nexus 7 tablet especially in the display size, form factor and build, but these two have major differences when it comes to the processor, memory and hence the performance of these two tablets is quite different. As Memo Google Nexus 7 is already on sale in India at a much premium pricing, Asus has kept the Memo pad at a much affordable price for the price conscious buyers who don’t need top notch processors because of their usage profile on the device. Those who need high performance and quality, can anyway spend more and get the Nexus 7 which has got a faster processor, high resolution display, NFC and Corning glass to name a few extra features over the Memo Pad.
