The Japanese handset maker Sony announced a new device in Taiwan. The Sony Xperia Z2a is announced for Taiwan and expected to go on sale from July. Sony did not reviled the price of device though and have not commented on the availability of device internationally. This smartphone is the international variant of Xperia ZL2, announced in Japan last month. Like other high end Xperia smartphones from Sony, this device is also water-proof and dust-proof on top and sports some really good hardware and software features from Sony. The device announced in three different colours Turquoise, White and Black.

In a launch event in New Delhi India, Oppo India has announced the prices of the Find 7 and 7A for India. Oppo Find 7A has been launched at Rs. 31,990 and goes on sale on 12th of June 2014 while the Find 7 has been priced at Rs. 37,990 and goes on sale in July 2014 in India. Specs and details below.

The Oppo Find 7 finally unveiled in Beijing. With some extra ordinary features like 50-megapixel camera and 2K display, this smartphone is first of its type. There is not any 50-megapixel camera sensor placed in phone but an only 13-megapixel camera with some sort of trick from Oppo, so the images looks like captured by 50-megapixel camera with capability of recording up to 8,160 x 6,120 pixels. The camra at back in Oppo Find 7 is capable of taking shots extremely quick along with super zoom lever. The 5.5-inch display is first of its kind, shipped with 2560*1440 pixel resolution along with 538 ppi.

Oppo R3 with 5-inch display and quad core processor announced in China

Oppo announced a new R series smartphone in Beijing called Oppo R3. The company is touting the smartphone as slimmest 4G smartphone in the world with thickness of 6.3mm and 140grams weight. The Gionee Claims its Elife S5.5 is world’s slimmest smartphone with the thickness of 5.5mm, but it do not have 4G LTE connectivity. The 5-inch display smartphone comes with O-video feature, combines photos and videos and upload them online instantly.

Samsung Galaxy Core Lite listed on company’s official Korean website specifications and details

Samsung listed a mid-range device on their Korean website along with the price. The Samsung Galaxy Core lite is the latest addition in Samsung’s Galaxy Core line up. The smartphone went on sale in Korea from this month, but unfortunately, the Samsung does not revealed the International availability and pricing of this device. The other devices in Samsung’s Galaxy Core line up are Samsung Galaxy Core Advance, Samsung Galaxy Core and Samsung Galaxy Plus, all of these devices already announced last year and went on sale as well.

Swipe Konnect 5.0 a new entry in budget segment with 5-inch display priced INR8,999

Swipe is a California based company and found by Shripal Gandhi, it has headquarter in Palo Alto California and recently received funding from Kalaari capital of INR 30 crore. The company said that the funding helped them to build innovative features in smartphone and helped them to reach in Indian market. Right now, the Swipe launched a 5-inch device Swipe Konnect 5.0 in India with a price tag of INR 8,999. The company also mentioned its further plans of launching 10 more devices under the Konnect series in next 3 months.

It will be so convenient to use an Android smartphone without even pressing the Power button located on top or right side of your smartphone. We usually pick up our smartphone from a table or pull out the smartphone from our pocket and hit the power button and unlock it, then we perform operations.
