Reliance has launched a new Lyf series smartphone, called the Reliance Lyf F8. The smartphone is available to buy from company’s retail stores across the country. As for specifications, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854×480 pixels and pixel density of 218ppi.
Reach Mobiles has launched yet another budget smartphone, called the Reach Allure Ultra. The smartphone is available to buy from e-commerce website Shopclues. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.
BlackBerry has launched its latest Android smartphones in India, called the BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60. The main highlight of the phones is their encryption capabilities. Both smartphones are touted as ‘world’s most secure Android smartphones’. The DTEK 50 and DTEK60 are FIPS 140-2 compliant and encrypt user’s crucial information such as personal data and business data. The smartphones also alert the users if someone is remotely accessing phone’s camera, microphone or location information.
Xolo has expanded its Era series of smartphones with the launch of Xolo Era 2. Under the hood, it packs a quad-core (unknown chipset) processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It features a 5-inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
Intex has launched its latest Aqua series smartphone- Intex Aqua S2. It is the cheapest smartphone till date with a fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it packs a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the phone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.
Oppo has launched its Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition smartphone in India. It packs identical specifications as the Oppo F1s which was launched in India in August 2016. What differentiates it from original F1s is that the Diwali Limited Edition comes with Diwali packing and has gilded Diwali pattern along with joint signatures of Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan on the rear.
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in India, called the Vivo Y55L. It succeeds the Y51L smartphone which was launched earlier this year in January 2016. The Y55L flaunts its premium metal unibody design. The Y55L comes with numerous upgrades over the predecessor such as better display, faster processor and larger battery, among others.
