Acer has launched two smartphones in the Liquid series- Acer Liquid Jade and E700. Liquid Jade is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It features a 5 inch HD IPS Zero Air Gap display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It entails 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB by microSD card). It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, auto focus, and 1080p HD video recording and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. It includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It packs a 2100 mAh battery and the dimensions of this smartphone are 140.5 x 69 x 7.5 mm.

Acer was the first company to bring a budget tablet in the form of Acer Iconica B1 and the company has just announced the cheapest quad core tablet offering from a MNC, the Iconica A1. The budget tablet has 7.9 inch screen which has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. It will come in two guises, Wi-Fi only and 3G+Wi-Fi. Also there will be two memory options, 8GB and 16GB with the latter being the dearer option.

Acer Iconia A1-810 Quad Core Android Tablet Revealed

A new quad core tablet is appeared on the French retailer Rue Du Commerce website, this time Acer launched an 7.9 inch IPS display with a 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution, although there is not any official word from the Acer. This device will be compete with the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini. Although Acer is little late to the game. The tablet will expected to run latest android 4.2 jelly bean with 1 GHz mediatek quad core processor and 1 GB RAM. There are 5 MP camera at the back and a VGA front camera too for video calling. The device is powered by 3,250 mAh battery which is pretty good. Apart from this, device comes with 16 GB on board storage with SD card support too. There is a micro HDMI port too. Currently this device is only available on the French retailer Rue Du Commerce, It is priced at €199 (or around $259) and is expected to ship in June. Other markets and prices will be announced as the release date gets closer.

Acer has introduced their Aspire Z Series in the country which marks the company’s entry in the All-In-One segment in the country and the personal computers shall start retailing at the company’s authorized stores at a price starting at Rs.29,990. The Aspire Z series of computers will come Windows 8 and will have 21.5-inch full-HD widescreen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and the screen’s display resolution standing at 1920×1080 pixels.
