Swipe Technologies has launched its yet another budget smartphone, called the Swipe Elite Power. As the name suggests, the main highlight of the smartphone is its powerful 4000mAh battery. Design
On aesthetics front, the Elite Power features an aluminium body which looks elegant. It comes with rounded edges and the rear of the phone is also curved towards the edges for a comfortable grip. It feels very premium yet sturdy in hand.
On the front, there is a 5.5-inch HD display with front camera, earpiece and ambient light sensor above it. The phone comes with three on-screen navigation buttons.
3.5mm audio jack and charging port are located on the top edge.
Left edge houses hybrid dual SIM tray and allows users to either put two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously.
On the right edge, there is power button along with volume rockers.
Bottom edge houses primary mic. On the back, there is an 8 mega pixel rear camera along with LED flash, fingerprint sensor, Elite branding and speakers.
Display
The Elite Power features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is bright with good viewing angles and is suitable for watching videos and playing games. It comes with Adaptive brightness feature that optimizes the brightness for available light.
Camera
For photography lovers, the phone sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash. There is also a 5 mega pixel front snapper for capturing selfies and making video calls. The outdoor shots taken with the phone come out to be good. Some of the low light shots however, show some graininess. Overall camera quality of the smartphone is just average and is not as good as you would expect it to be.
Hardware & Performance
At the heart of the Elite Power is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. It houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with expandable support up to 32GB via microSD card. Apps launch quickly and it handles multitasking with ease. On software front, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Overall performance of the phone is pretty decent for the price.
Battery & Connectivity
Armed with a 4000mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 240 hours of standby time and 15 hours of talk time on 3G networks. During our time with the phone as well, the battery lasted long. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Verdict
The Swipe Elite Power is a decent budget smartphone. It has some drawbacks like average camera capabilities and hybrid dual SIM slot. But that is countervailed by its affortable price tag of just Rs. 6,999. If you are looking for a premium looking budget smartphone with good display, smooth performance, long lasting battery and a fingerprint sensor, then you should opt for the Swipe Elite Power.
