As expected, Sony has launched its Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones in India. To recall, both smartphones were announced back in September at IFA 2015. Dual-SIM versions of both smartphones have been launched in India. While the Xperia Z5 is company’s flagship phone, the Xperia Z5 Premium is called as super-flagship by the company and is world’s first smartphone to feature a 4K UHD display with four times pixels resolution of the full HD display.

Both smartphones draw design clues from the erstwhile ‘Z’ series flagship smartphones and flaunt Sony’s Omnibalance design. Fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button on the right edge of both the smartphones. Both handsets also comes with IP65 / IP68 certification for resistance against dust and water.
