Sony has unveiled its new device, Sony Xperia Z4 tablet which the company is touts as world’s slimmest and lightest 10 inch tablet with 6.1 mm thickness and 393 grams weight. The tablet also flaunts its 2k display to deliver amazing viewing experience to the users. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by 64-bit 2 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop, it features a 10.1 inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. On photography front, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 5.1 mega pixel front facing camera for video calling and capturing selfies. For storage purpose, the tablet houses 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD card.
It packs a 6000 mAh battery with Sony’s Battery STAMINA Mode which turns off the background apps if they remain unused for longer time. The battery is claimed to deliver video playback time of up to 17 hours. Based on connectivity options, the slate will be available in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants. The tablet also comes with front stereo speakers, and water and dust resistance. The Xperia Z4 will be available with optional Bluetooth Keyboard BKB50 to cpnvert the tablet into as a laptop.

Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia Z4 tablet will go on sale starting June 2015 in 4G LTE and Wi-Fi only variants. Information about pricing of the tablet is not known yet.
