We will continue to make an aggressive pitch in this category in India, and are targeting Sales of Rs. 5,500 crore in FY14. We plan to launch over 30 new smartphones this year and expand the distribution network to reach 12,000 touch-points, including 500 exclusive Xperia Lounge Stores. We have also allocated Rs. 350 crores as the marketing budget to execute a high-impact integrated marketing campaign that will enhance engagement of brand Xperia with customers in India.”

Analysis, Price and Availability
The device sports an Omnibalance design with a metal strip on the sides holding everything together and laced with chamfered edges. The right side contains Power button, volume rocker keys and dedicated camera shutter button and MicroSD, SIM Card slots covered by a single flap. The left side has the charging port covered by a flap and a magnetic dock connector. Sony has listened to the customer feedback from Xperia Z and Z1 handsets & has improved the brightness and sunlight legibility of the display.
The SmartBand SWR10 is a fitness and activity tracker which is bundled with the device for a limited time. Providing the functionality much like FitBit trackers, it pushes the details of activities and sleep patterns to an app called LifeLog.
