Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual a 6-inch display smartphone launched at INR 25,990 in India

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual smartphone announced in January this year along with its single SIM version. Now with a press release Sony confirmed this smartphone in India launching it on tomorrow 20 March, 2014. The smartphone will be available on Sony retail stores and other premium stores too. The single SIM version of smartphone listed on an online store with a price tag of INR 32,000. But interestingly Sony had made available the dual SIM version first officially with the price tag of INR 25,990 only, which is not even near the price that online store offered with single SIM version earlier.

The smartphone has 6-inch huge HD TRILUMINOS screen with the pixel resolution of 720*1080p. The device is 7.65mm thin along with 172-gram weight. The 6-inch display is built with same technology as Sony BRAVIA® TVs. And Sony is shipping it with Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2 which makes viewing angles much better.

The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz quad core processor along with a Adreno 305 GPU. There is 1 GB RAM on board. The smartphone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. There is 8GB internal storage with this device along with 32GB memory card support.

The 13-megapixel camera at back paired with Exmor RS™ for mobile image sensor, which is able to take HDR of both images and videos. Sony is also shipping this smartphone with some its own camera apps like Social Live, Portrait retouch, Timeshift burst, AR effect. The 13-megapixel camera can record up to 1080 pixel resolution videos. In addition, at front, for video calling and self-portrait, there is a 1.1-megapixel camera too. The front camera capable of video calling at 720p.

On the connectivity front, it has NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It gives you complete Sony experience with you can connect all of your NFC enabled Sony accessories and NFC tags too. The smartphone is Dual SIM smartphone. The SIM type in smartphone is Micro SIM not normal SIM.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual also comes pre-loaded with all Walkman applications that Sony provides.

There is 3000mAh battery inside the smartphone, which is capable of providing talk time up to 16 hours along with the stand by time of 1120 hours.
