The new flagship smartphone is aimed at professional photographers who own a Sony Alpha camera or camcorder. It can double as a monitor for your camera or camcorder.
The Sony Xperia Pro comes with a micro-HDMI connector that offers live feed from your camera or camcorder to the smartphone’s 4K OLED display.
Additionally, the new handset allows you to transfer your camera footage to an FTP server using its inbuilt 5G connectivity. Let’s take a closer look:

The Sony Xperia Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and 12GB RAM. The 512GB UFS storage can be expanded through a micro SD card (up to 1TB).
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP Exmor RS mobile sensor (f/1.7) and two additional 12MP sensors (f/2.4, 124-degree FoV + f/2.2, 124-degree FoV).
For selfies and video calling, the Sony Xperia Pro features an 8MP front camera (f/2.0). It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports Xperia Adaptive Charging and USB Power Delivery (PD) fast charging.

The handset measures 170.18 x 76.2 x 10.16mm and weighs 225 grams. It sports front-facing speakers powered by Dolby Atmos audio technology.
The 6.5-inch 4K HDR (1,644 x 3,840 pixels) OLED display comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 100 percent DCI-P3 100 color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. There is also a dedicated Creator mode powered by CineAltra.

The Sony Xperia Pro is priced at $2,499.99 (approx Rs 1,82,500). It is now available for purchase in the US through Amazon, B&H Photo Video, and the Sony online store.
As of now, Sony has not announced the details of the Indian price tag and launch date.
