The Sony Xperia Ace is priced in Japan at JPY 48,600 (approx Rs 31,000). It will be available from June 1 via Japanese operator NTT Docomo. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new smartphone is backed by a 2,700mAh battery. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor (four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz) and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
The Sony Xperia Ace sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 1.25-micron pixel size, and an Exmor R sensor. Camera features include hybrid stabilization (combines OIS as well as EIS). For selfies and video calling, the 8-megapixel front camera comes with a wide 120-degree field-of-view.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.0-inch Triluminos LCD display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the side (on the power button).
The Sony Xperia Ace measures 140 x 67 x 9.3mm and weighs 154 grams. It comes with IPX5/ IPX8 rating (water and dust resistance). The compact smartphone features stereo speakers and supports High-Res audio.
