The new full-frame mirrorless camera is the successor of the popular Sony A7S II. It sports an updated design with a new image processor and a flip-out touchscreen LCD display.
Additionally, the Sony A7S III supports 4K 120fps video recording and professional shooting modes. It also features two memory card slots (SD and CFexpress Type A cards).

The new camera features a 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor. It comes with the new Bionz XR image processor.
The Sony A7S III has an ISO range of 40 to 409,600. It can take still images at up to 10fps and more than 1,000 consecutive uncompressed RAW images.
The full-frame camera can record 4K videos at 120fps with 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth. It is the Alpha series model to come with 4K 60p 16-bit RAW video HDMI output capability.

The Sony Alpha 7S III comes with 759 point phase-detection AF (PDAF) sensors that cover 92 percent of the image sensor. It uses a Fast Hybrid auto-focus (AF) feature (combines phase-detection and contrast-detection).
The mirrorless camera also features 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization. There is also an additional Active Mode for advanced handheld movie shooting.
Additionally, the Sony Alpha 7S III comes with a 9.44 million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (touted to be the brightest and largest in the world).
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, USB tethering, and a USB Type-C connector that supports SuperSpeed USB 5GBps data transfer.

The Sony A7S III is priced in India at Rs 3,34,990 (body only). It will be available on October 14 through all major offline and online retailers.
The company has laos launched Sony CFexpress Type A memory cards at Rs 21,100 and Rs 40,990 for 80GB and 160GB capacities, respectively.
Additionally, Sony’s MRW-G2 card reader comes with a price tag of Rs 13,700.
