The Smartron t.phone P is priced in India at Rs 7,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The first flash sale will take place on January 17.

The new smartphone features a 5.2-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor (4 x 1.4GHz cores + 4 x 1.1GHz cores) and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Smartron t.phone P sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.2 aperture, fixed-focus lens and a low-light flash. Camera features include Beautify, HDR, Panorama, Time Lapse, Burst mode and a Wide Selfie.
The 5000mAh battery on the device offers up to two days of power on a single charge. The fast-charging support allows you to get a full-day charge in just 90 minutes of time. The battery pack can be used to charge other devices including smartphones, smart bands, and Bluetooth speakers.
