Skype has added a new feature to easily conduct conference video calls. It enables the host to start a group conversation without downloading the app or everybody signing up.

The new ‘Meet Now’ feature will allow you to generate a unique link with just one click. This link can be shared to seamlessly start group calls.

“Meetings have no expiration date so you can create your meetings ahead and join anytime. We will hold your call recordings for up to 30 days and shared media even longer,” Skype stated.

The admin needs to just generate a free unique link
Share it with participants
Once other users click on the link, it opens up in their browse
The call starts immediately

Note: The generated link never expires. It can be used anytime. The other users don’t need to have Skype installed on their devices either.

All users will be able to access all Skype features like screen sharing, blurring the background before entering the call, and recording/ saving the call for later review.
