The Samsung Galaxy On Max is priced at Rs 16,900 in India. Samsung is also offering Rs 2,000 discount for Standard Chartered credit and debit cards users. At this price point, the new smartphone will compete with the likes of Moto G5 Plus, Honor 8, and Oppo F1s.

The new phablet sports similar specs as Samsung Galaxy J7 Max (priced at Rs 17,900) except the processor. While the Galaxy J7 Max features a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, while the Galaxy On Max is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 Lite SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy On Max sports a 5.7-inch display with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. It is supported by 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card). On the camera front, the Galaxy On Max features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 13-meagpixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery.

The Samsung Galaxy On Max comes in Black and Gold color options in India. It measures 156.6 x 78.7 x 8.1mm and weighs 178 grams. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Micro-USB port. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the home button. Other sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.

The Galaxy On Max also supports Samsung Pay Mini which allows you to make UPI-based payments. A new Social Camera Mode provides instant sharing options to users. You can pin your favorite social media contacts for quick sharing. The new features also allow you to use live stickers.
