Several details of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 have surfaced online. However, there is no information about its price and launch date as yet.

As per recent leaks and reports, the upcoming handset will be powered by an Exynos 850 octa-core (2.0GHz quad + 2.0GHz quad) 8nm processor along with Mali-G52 and 4GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is said to be backed by a 3000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The 64GB storage can be further expanded (up to 512GB) via a micro SD card.
In terms of design, the rugged phone is tipped to sport a 16MP rear camera with LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it will feature a 5MP front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will run Android 11 OS with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 on top. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
In terms of design, the rugged phone will feature IP68 water and dust-resistant body with MIL-STD 810G certification. It is said to offer reliable protection against extreme altitude, humidity, and other severe environmental conditions.
The Dual / Single SIM smartphone is expected to feature a 5.3-inch HD+ LCD display. The enhanced touchscreen is said to work in any condition (rain, snow, etc). It comes with a Wet Touch and Glove Mode.
