Samsung has launched a new tablet, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab E in Taiwan. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 9.6-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
There is 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 5000mAh battery, the device measures 241.9 x 149.5 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 490 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. On design front, the tablet comes with faux leather finish at the back.

Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is priced at TWD 6,990 (approximately Rs. 14,500). It will go on sale in Taiwan by the end of this month. There is no word on global launch of the the tablet as of now.
Samsung is also said to be working on Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. Rumored specifications of the tablet include octa-core Exynos 5433/7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system, 9.7-inch Super AMOLED (2048×1536 pixel) display, 16GB/ 32GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card), 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera and 5870mAh battery. With 237.1×168.8×5.4 mm dimensions and 407 grams of weight, the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet is likely to offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth as connectivity options.
