Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Launched In India: Details & Hands On Video

Samsung has launched its first B2B tablet, namely Samsung Galaxy Tab Active in India. This tablet is aimed at businesses and comes with water/dust resistance and anti-shock/drop protection. Apart from these features, Active tab also comes with in-built C-Pen which the company touts as more rigid than standard stylus. The tablet comes with Knox security feature and the tablet also makes it easy for the users to share content between tablets and mobile phones with its NFC support. The Galaxy Tab Active is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor accompanied with a 1.5 GB RAM. and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It features an 8 inch WXGA display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 189 ppi pixel density. On camera front, it sports a 3.1 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash while there is also a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera on board for making video calls and capturing selfies. For storage purpose, it entails 16 GB of in-built memory which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.

It further packs a 4,550 mAh removable battery which can survive up to 10 hours. Connectivity options include 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB port and NFC. The tablet is designed in such a way that it can even withstand harsh conditions. It comes with IP67 dust and water resistant certification and further offers higher productivity to the users.
