The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is priced in India at Rs 17,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage Wi-Fi only variant. The Wi-Fi + LTE model with same and storage comes at Rs 21,999.
The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage Wi-Fi only variant comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999. A Wi-Fi + LTE model of the same will be available at Rs 23,999.
The new tablet comes in Grey, Pink Gold, and Silver color options. It will be available from January 17 during Amazon’s Great Republic Day Sale 2022.
As part of launch offers, the Samsung tablet customers will get a Rs 2,000 cashback on using ICICI Bank cards. They can also get an additional Book Cover (worth Rs 4,499) for Rs 999.
Originally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 was launched with a starting price of EUR 229 (approx Rs 19,700) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage Wi-Fi only model. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage LTE variant costs EUR 359 (approx Rs 30,900).

The new tablet is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor (unspecified) and up to 4GBRAM. The 32GB/ 64GB/ 128GB storage can be further expanded via microSD (up to 1TB).
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 7,040mAh battery that supports 15W charging through USB Type-C.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 runs Android 11 OS with the One UI 3 skin on top. The One UI interface supports split-screen mode with the Drag and Split feature.
Users can also access Samsung TV Plus and two months of YouTube Premium for free. Connectivity options include LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm and weighs 508 grams. It comes in Gold, Pink Gold, and Silver color options.
The new tablet features a 10.5-inch TFT display, with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. Additional features include face unlock and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.
