Soon after the launch of flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung is found readying its flagship tablet dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 5. Samsung’s forthcoming tablet Galaxy Tab 5 has been spotted on TENAA and in a Bluetooth certification. As far as the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Tab 5 are concerned, it is likely to be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM.The tablet is rumored to feature 16 GB of inbuilt storage and pack an 8.0 inch display with 1024×768 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab 5 is likely to run the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
On imaging front, the Galaxy Tab 5 will sport a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. If the rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy Tab 5 will pack larger RAM, larger battery and better camera than the previous model, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. The Samsung Tab 5 is also said to be lighter than the Galaxy Tab 4. The Tab 5 is also rumored to come equipped with S Pen stylus which is commonly seen in Note series. Samsung is also said to be working on two new Tizen smartphones– Samsung Z1 and a global Tizen smartphone. The former is likely to be unveiled in the first half of 2015 while there is no word on the availability of the latter. The rumored specs of Samsung Z2 include a 32-bit quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, qHD TFT LCD (960×540 pixel) display, Tizen 3.0 UI operating system and a 2000 mAh battery.
The global Tizen phone is likely to feature a 4.8-inch HD Super Amoled S-Stripe RGB (1280×720 pixel) display, 2 GB of RAM, 8 mega pixel rear camera and 2600 mAh battery.
