The Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to arrive next year alongside the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The launch is expected to be held on January 14, sales will start on January 29.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to come with a price tag of EUR 849 (approx Rs 76,000) for the base 128GB storage model. The 256GB storage variant will cost EUR 899 (approx Rs 80,600).
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is expected to be priced at EUR 1,049 (approx Rs 94,000) and EUR 1,099 (approx Rs 98,700) for the 128GB and 256GB storage options, respectively.
The new series is expected to be available in Grey, Pink, Silver, Violet, and White color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will similar to the Galaxy S20 series. It is tipped to come with a central hole-punch cutout and triple rear cameras.
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen is expected to feature a 60 – 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and a Gorilla Glass 7 protection on top.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 on top. Connectivity options will include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
Both models are also expected to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 2100/ Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processors along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage.

The upcoming handset will sport a 6.2-inch Infinity-O display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 421ppi.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support (alongside Qi wireless charging compatibility and reverse charging support).
The new smartphone is said to measure 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm (9mm thickness with the camera bump) and weigh 171 grams.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP telephoto lens (f/2.0), a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), and a 12MP wide-angle lens (f/1.8).
The camera features include optical image stabilization (OIS) support, 3x hybrid optical zoom, 8K video recording support (30fps), and 4K video recording at up to 60fps.
For selfies and video calling, the Galaxy S21 will come with a 10MP front camera (f/2.2) with an 80-degree of field-of-view (FoV).

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is said to feature a 6.7-inch display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 394ppi.
The new smartphone is said to measure 161.4 x 75.6 x 7.8mm (9mm thickness with the camera bump) and weigh 202 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is said to be backed by a 4,800mAh battery with 25W fast charging support (alongside Qi wireless charging compatibility and reverse charging support).
Other specs and features will be similar to the standard Samsung Galaxy S21 model.

Conclusion
Previous reports claimed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will feature the company’s new under-display camera technology.
Back in 2018, Samsung announced that it is working on the under-screen sensor (including camera) technology that will hide the front camera underneath an OLED display.
The new technology seems to be ready to arrive early next year. Currently, the company is using Infinity-O display on its latest smartphones.
Recently, Xiaomi showcased a prototype smartphone with under-display camera technology. Oppo also displayed similar technology at the MWC Shanghai event last year
Oppo uses a customized camera module, an enhanced translucent panel material, and advanced processing algorithms.
On the other hand, the Vivo APEX 2020 concept phone features an under-display camera that only appears when needed.
To improve quality, Vivo increased the light transmittance of the screen right above the front camera. Optical interference, diffraction, etc are compensated through a series of algorithm optimizations.
