Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone in its Galaxy series, called the Samsung Galaxy O5. The device has been spotted on GFXBench tests, revealing specifications. As per the listing, the Galaxy O5 with model number (SM-G550) is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it features a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
It houses 8GB of internal memory out of which 4.5GB is user available. On camera front, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It will come loaded with accelerometer, barometer and proximity sensors. The listing fails to reveal battery capacity.

There is no word on when the company plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy O5 smartphone. Details about price and availability are likely to be announced at the time of launch. Samsung also launched its Galaxy Core Prime VE smartphone for Rs. 8,600, earlier this month. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and features a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS (800×480 pixels resolution) display. Other specifications of the handset include 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB using microSD card), 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2000mAh battery.
