The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 sports 13-megapixel cameras on the front and the back (with f/1.9 aperture). The new handset is backed by a 3300mAh battery.

The large screen device sports a full metal unibody design with 2.5D glass. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the front. Other sensors include an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.
The new smartphone comes in Black and Gold color options. It measures 151.7x75x8 and weighs 170 grams. Connectivity options on the device include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Additionally, the Android smartphone comes pre-loaded with Samsung Mall. It is part of Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ initiative. The new service allows users to ‘shoot and shop on-the-go.’ You can also click pictures of a product or use an image to search for the same online. Meanwhile, the Samsung Pay Mini offers a comprehensive platform for government’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) as well as e-wallets.
