Samsung has launched its budget Android smartphone Galaxy Core Prime in India. Though Samsung has not officially announced it, this smartphone has currently been spotted in Samsung’s e-store listings. While it was also spotted in e-commerce portal- FlipKart’s listings earlier.
It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android kitkat 4.4 operating system and comes with 4.5 inch WVGA , PLS display. It sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus primary camera and 2 mega pixel front facing camera. It entails 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB via micro SD card. It has thickness of 8.8 mm and packs a 2000 mAh battery.
As far as connectivity options are concerned, it include 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Micro USB. It comes with accelerometer and proximity sensor and features a matte body finish with metal sides. It will be available in Charcoal Grey, White and Silver color options.

Lenovo S660 comes powered by 1.3 GHz Media Tek 6582m Quad Core Processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It gets a 4.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display. The primary camera is 8 mega pixel, front facing shooter is 0.3 mega pixel and packs a 3000 mAh battery.

The budget smartphone is priced at Rs. 9700. It is available on some of the online stores and at some offline stores too.
