The Samsung Galaxy Book S comes with a starting price of $999 (approx Rs 71,000). It comes in n Earthy Gold and Mercury Grey color options.
While the sleek laptop will be available in the US this fall, there is no confirmation about the Indian price and launch date.

The new laptop is powered by a 2.84GHz Snapdragon 8cx 7nm processor along with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage (expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card).
Samsung claims that the Galaxy Book S comes with a 40 percent performance boost and 80 percent better in graphics. The 42Wh battery is said to last up to 23 hours on a single charge. It supports PD 2.0, AFC, and QC 2.0 standards for charging.

The new ultra-thin laptop weighs only 0.96kg and measures 305.2 x 203.2 x 11.8 mm. It features a premium metallic build. The 13.3-inch display comes with a full-HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 10-point multi-touch support.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S comes with a fingerprint sensor. For audio, it sports AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby ATMOS support.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac and Bluetooth 5.0. The laptop accepts a Nano SIM card.
Additionally, the company claims that the laptop will wake as soon as users touch the laptop.
