The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is quite different from the Galaxy A23 (launched in August this year). Instead of a quad rear camera setup, it only sports a single 50-megapixel rear camera.
Additionally, the new handset comes with a 5.8-inch display and a 4,000 battery. It is powered by an octa-core SoC and comes in three color options. Let’s take a look at the specs and features:

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor (likely MediaTek Dimensity 700) and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be expanded via a micro SD card (up to 1TB).
In terms of optics, the new smartphone features a 50-megapixel rear camera (f/1.8 aperture) and a 5-megapixel front camera (f/2.0 lens). It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

In terms of dimensions, the new handset measures 150 x 71 x 9.0mm and weighs 168 grams. It features an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G sports a 5.8-inch TFT display with HD+ (720 x 1,560 pixels) resolution and 16 million colors. The Samsung Galaxy A23 comes with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Infinity-V screen.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is priced in Japan at JPY 31,680 (approx Rs 18,200). It comes in three color options – Black, Red, and White.
The 5G smartphone will be available in Japan via au.com, J:Com, Rakuten Mobile, and other retailers. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
