The Samsung Galaxy A12 is priced in India at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 13,999.
The new smartphone comes in Black, Blue, and White color options. It will be available from February 17 via retail stores, Samsung.com, and leading online portals.
In Europe, the Samsung Galaxy A12 is priced at EUR 179 (approx Rs 15,800) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs EUR 199 (approx Rs 17,500).

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB via a micro SD card).
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A12 features a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor (f/2.0), a 5MP ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2), a 2MP macro sensor (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP front camera (f/2.2). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 runs Android 10 OS with One UI Core 2.5 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.5-inch TFT Infinity-V display with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop-style notch.
In terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy A12 measures 164 x 75.8 x 8.9mm and weighs 205 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.
Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
